Also, at the bottom of the review (please DO read it though!), you'll find a special offer....
Now, on to the Radha Beauty Professional Age-Defying Skin Clearing Serum.
First off, I need to say, "product was received in exchange for my honest review." (though regular readers of my blog would know that even free stuff doesn't guarantee an all-positive review! I AM honest, after all [ask anyone who knows me]). Secondly, I've been told the link MUST appear exactly (usually I'd just do a clickable link): http://www.amazon.com/Clearing-wrinkles-blemished-Salicylic-Hyaluronic/dp/B00T9QNPVW/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1427812270&sr=8-6&keywords=radha+beauty
Let me start with the problems I'd hoped this would address: Firstly, there are the dark circles I've always had under my eyes. Secondly, the redness (which varies in size and darkness with the seasons). Both of these have been problems my whole life, and I've learned to hide them well. Also, since my early teen years, I've had lines (some of which I attribute to an unhappy childhood, others to reading "too much" [can one REALLY read too much?]). I also frequently get pimples (oddly, almost never on the reddened areas!). And at the changing of the seasons, I get patches of dry skin all over my face and neck. Okay, enough with the whining, right? lol. On to the review.....
The very first time I pumped a tiny amount onto my fingertips, I was a bit overwhelmed with the smell. I recognized some of it as Tea Tree oil (which I really like the smell of [and often add to mop water]), but it was combined with something that made it less pleasant to me. I have since gotten somewhat used to it, but it's still a bit much. I carefully applied the serum to my face, and felt an intense stinging (which subsided after about 5 minutes). That first time, I also got a tiny bit in my eye. Needless to say, I was VERY careful with it after that!
After it had absorbed, I went to apply my moisturizer as usual. Right away, I noticed the redness on my cheeks was already slightly reduced. The moisturizer went on over this stuff poorly, sitting there instead of absorbing in.
I have been using this serum for about a week now. The results? The redness has almost disappeared, even on what would've been "bad" days! The dry spots haven't appeared. The aforementioned lines are noticeably reduced (not GONE, but definitely improved). I haven't gotten a SINGLE pimple! And my pores look tighter (which I did not expect). I continued to carefully dab a tiny bit to the under-eye circles, being careful not to get too close. I saw no improvement there at all.
Overall impression? I'm very pleased with the results on everything but the circles. The stinging sensation and the strong scent are a bit of a problem for me, but if it means my skin can look this good, I'd happily deal with it. I'd call this one a (qualified) win.
